‘mon the fucking Daddy Bear!
Word.
We’ve long since finished our epic love ballad of a second song, “You look hotter than a burn victim” (check out our Myspazz or our website) and have completed 90% of our third offering, a tasty looking morsel entitled “Disco Dancing with Bears”… Girls Aloud meets YMCA all wrapped up in a dirty shizzle funk rock disco beat… you’ll fucking love it…
Walk with the big Bear… Boom!

Daddy Bear
Been saying this for a while, but Daddy Bear is coming.
Inspired by the low-budget “Goldfrapp on a council estate” Schmoof that we saw the other day, Henry and I are writing our first song - “Electro-sex”. The Mighty Boosh meets Electric Six meets dodgy 80’s power ballads all wrapped up in a gooey ball of electro funk. Expect strange lyrics (me) and electro synth shizzle (Henry). Rich is joining us but he doesn’t know it yet.
This is the kind of standard we are aiming for. We can but dream.

Muse, Goldfrapp, Body is fucked, I’m getting old…
The last couple of weeks have been liberally sprinkled with a largely unhealthy mixture of late nights, alcohol and gigs. It has been fun, but my body needs time to recuperate.
Muse were fucking awesome. Maybe my opinion is influenced by my love for the band, but they put on an epic show. Bellamy was god on each of the ten different guitars he used. My only minor complaint was that they didn’t play Citizen Erased nor Assassin. Below are a video of Stockholm Syndrome and an audio clip of Knights of Cydonia (both shamelessly stolen). Supporting were Hey Molly (quite good) and Nixon and the Burn (not so)

Goldfrapp, supported by the bland Ladytron, were pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of electronic music, but they did put on a good show. Anyone that manages to persuade jesus to play the electric violin for their band gets a thumbs up from me. There was one minor fuck up when Alison managed to unplug the bassist, but apart from that it was all good. Especially the dancers dressed in very little besides animal heads. Think Flaming Lips but sexy.
I’ve just got back from a ride. This is something that I need to do more often. Anyone who knows me reasonably well will know that I’m less of a cunt a much nicer person if I’ve got endorphins swimming in my bloodstream.
Oh and I’m now twenty four. Fuck.
