Somehow I missed Frank Turner (ex Million Dead) ’s live acoustic set on The Lock Up last week.  I just heard one of the tracks he did; an awesome cover of Abba’s Dancing Queen.  No really.  Fucking amazing, well worth listening to.  It’s about 30 mins into the 14/03/06 show, or one and a half hours into the 7/03/06 one.  Linky

Was also impressed by the Editors‘ recent cover of Gorillaz‘ Clint Eastwood Feel Good Inc.  Better than the original.  Is it just me or do they sound more like Interpol every time you hear them?

It seems there is a god (note the lowercase, as he hasn’t earned his capital yet!).  Somehow found and bought a Boxfresh jacket that is nearly identical to the one that some junkie broke my heart by stealing from me a few months back.  It’s black and not quite so cool, but it will still (hopefully) rock.  It only took me two and a half months.  Maybe I’ll find my virginity next.
